Feds running survey on Bomber menu; I say ensure you have healthy options

21:34 Mon 22 May 2006; 141 | by Ryan | in waterloo

Feds is running a survey on the proposed Bombshelter menu. They are planning for a different and expanded offering of food when the pub — soon to be pub/restaurant — re-opens in the fall.

These were the comments I gave for the survey:

I think you should spell bruschetta, mandarin, fish ‘n’ chips <-- this way -- what is smothered garlic loaf, what is smothered turkey sandwich, what is cobb salad? -- there should be more soups in addition to french onion, like pea soup, squash soup, lentil soup -- you should have vegan and healthy options, whole grains, vegetables, brown rice -- walking on to campus for Saturday breakfast is a big load; maybe arrange St. J parking for breakfast goers -- waldorf salad would be great for the salad menu -- also it is important to have a unifying concept for marketing Bombshelter as a restaurant -- I hope there is better lighting for when Bomber is the restraurant

This is the contents of the survey:

I was looking at UW Formula SAE websites and I found this piece at the bottom.

part of screensho from fsae 2000

Back in 2000 they e-mailed us back reports from the competition adn we, uwstudent.org, published the developments. It doesn’t seem like as much now, but it was pretty cool back then, six years ago.
