Junior and I have been sharing groceries and preparation for dinners. We made about 45 hamburgers on 5 May when ground beef was on sale at Central. Megs helped us. She mixed them all by hand.
Last week we started dinners in earnest. We went to Glenridge Zehrs on Monday. These were our meals last week.
- Monday 15 May - Scoobi-doo pasta (helical tubes) with pesto and sausage
- Wednesday 17 May - Chicken stirfry (red sweet chilis, green sweet chili, bean sprouts, carrot, celery) with rice
- Thursday 18 May - Porkroast, steamed bok choy, and rice
- Friday 19 May - Shrimp stirfry with noodles
- Monday 22 May - Steamed curry beef buns, lentil soup
I plan to suggest and make more meat-free meals.
