Saturday Mel’s b-day, Kelly D’s party

Last week Saturday I stopped by Melissa’s birthday party. She went to my high school, but at a different time than me.

She and all her girlfriends would decorate and wear white A-shirts, “wife-beaters,” party and go to Phil’s. It was the second year, so this was the sequel. Last year I saw her at Summerfest at Fed Hall.

I stopped by early because I was going to another party later. So, I was the first guy to arrive. I was there for an hour with a dozen girls decorating their undershirts. That was an amusing and not entirely unpleasant time.

I was wearing aviator shades, white linen pants, and my papa’s old light blue dashiki shirt.

The girls were an interesting mix of ethnicities and some had come from TO area to party. The theme was like Mel had the year before at Summerfest 1, so this was the sequel.
After about and hour with the girls and a photo of me and Mel, I left for the next event.

I picked up Jess and we went to Suzanne’s where she and Steve were watching game six of the Stanley Cup. We watched until the second intermission and then we went to Kelly’s.

I met some kids there: Adam’s friend John, Julie from G and her brother. Kelly’s sister Katie, who is in secondary school told us how the coolest guy in school had just called her, but Julie and Kelly had talked to him for several minutes before her mobile got to her.

Julie is an aesthetician. She told me about the brazilian. She doesn’t normally do them though.

We left at about 1 or so. I was pretty tired.
