Anne introduced us at the Leadership Waterloo Region annual general meeting Wednesday night.

Barb, the chair, chaired the meeting and unveiled the new website.

Only a few of the 22-person class were missing. Steve showed up a little later with his brother Tyler. Tyler told me that Steve was a Feds VP years ago.

We just had our opening retreat last weekend. Now its time to start our group project and start our community learning.

Wednesday I went to the Career Fair at RIM Park. I saw Yasir on the way to the bus, so I talked to him about talking to recruiters at the fair as he marked off company booths he wanted to visit.

When we got there we got a map and marked off which booths he wanted to go to.

I got a load of pens and other things as well. Some company was giving out Wonderbread. There were chips, hotrods, brownies, and candy. There were other gimmicky toys, paraphernalia, and kitsch.

I saw Rahul at the Infusion booth and he gave me a t-shirt. The t-shirt says “code hero” and depicts a Pai-Mei—looking character with the words “.net ninja” over his leg. He said he knew that I could get the t-shirt seen. I told him I would put it on my website to promote Infusion Development and Infusion Angels.
