MacD got here and moved in on Monday.

Yesterday we drove to Syruptown to pick up a washer and drier,

Last year Ernesto and I rented a portable washer (that hooked up to our kitchen sink and faucet) for $275 from Tri-City and they wanted $125 for this term. MacD suggested we try buying a used set, which could be cheaper.

Benefits of the plan are: larger capacity, lower cost
Challenges are: trying to adapt the machine to a sink

At least two banks in Canada have launched bank accounts that combine chequing, savings, credit accounts and mortgages into one account.

Manulife Bank has its “One” account and Canadian Tire Bank is launching a pilot of its “One and Only” account.
